He leaned me back into the chair while he worked with this tiny mirror/pick thingy. He explained in plain English what he was doing – without jargon. It looks like you were right, he told me after a short time. We’ll get it back to its original condition.

The actual procedure was quick, and it didn’t hurt at all. Dr. Martinez was friendly and kept the conversation going throughout. He shared stories of his experience in practice, asked me about my favorite movies, and even made small-talk. The conversation ended quickly.

The man shook off his gloves and said “You’re done!” with great enthusiasm.

The mirror was handed to me by Dr. Martinez as I got up from my chair, slightly dazed because of how easy everything seemed. The tooth was perfect, with no indication of any drilling and filling!

“Wow!” I said, genuinely moved.

I was greeted with a smile and a grin from him before he gave me some simple advice about how to care for the product.

After leaving the clinic, I felt like I was letting go of a long-buried fear.

What about some logistics? Who doesn’t appreciate some useful information on the subject? It’s not all warm feelings here; the tech department is strong as well! Are you using digital X rays? Check! Laser dentistry? Double-check! You will be amazed at how they handle the insurance paperwork.

Here’s another thing worth mentioning: their hygienists truly are gems. The hygienists make sure that every little nook and crevice is cleaned without turning you into Niagara Falls.

The last point is that cost transparency, well not literally of course but you can understand my meaning. You won’t find any hidden fees waiting in the shadows to take advantage of unsuspecting customers!
